About
Tammy Ough, M.Ed., RCC

I began my career as an educator and counsellor working working in the public school system and in private practice for the past 20 years. I have worked with families and youth at the middle school and high school level, as well as individual, family and couples counselling. I have extensive experience with supporting clients through challenges such as learning disabilities, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, drug addiction and PTSD. Throughout my career, I have supported many clients by guiding them through difficult times. I also have worked in group settings with adults facing addiction. My practice focuses on a client-centered approach and applying different models of therapy, depending on the clients' individual needs. These approaches include Person-Centered Therapy and Trauma Informed Practice and Culturally Sensitive Therapy. Through my work I hope to provide authentic connections, skill building, personal growth, and overall wellness.
